Here's the deal: We don't need to spend millions on consultants crafting the perfect talking points to get our message across; we just need to tell the truth. And the truth is, nobody voted for the dismantling of lifesaving government programs, and the people will not stand for it.

Trump and Musk shutting down Social Security offices and attempting to slash benefits that provide the only source of income for nearly 40% of elderly Americans?¹ Nobody voted for that.

Trying to dismantle Medicaid, which 79 million people—including 37 million children—rely on to access health care, pay for their medications, provide hospice and assisted living support, and more?² Nobody voted for that.

Gutting the Department of Education, which will make it far more difficult for children with disabilities and those in high-poverty neighborhoods to get access to high-quality education? Nobody voted for that.

And slashing the staff at the Veterans Administration—20% of whom are veterans themselves—which will cause further delays in care and loss of services for the nearly 10 million veterans who rely on the VA?³ Nobody voted for that.

The Trump and Musk agenda is wildly unpopular, and we're already starting to see the cracks forming within the Republican Party as representatives see these rallies, watch their phone lines flood with constituent calls, and hear the drumbeat of negative press attention.

All we have to do is harness this energy, and that is exactly what MoveOn has been doing since January 20.

We're holding some of the largest phone banks in our organization's history, driving tens of thousands of calls to congressional offices demanding that Congress take action to stop Trump's funding cuts.
