Voters are ready to FIRE Elon Musk

It's official, Pamela, a near-majority of registered voters are ready to FIRE Elon Musk. You read that right – a new YouGov poll commissioned by Common Cause shows that 49% of registered voters would support President Donald Trump firing Elon Musk from his role as special advisor. [1] Since assuming his unelected, unchecked position leading the so-called "DOGE," Musk has attempted to slash billions in congressionally funded programs that millions of Americans rely on. And voters have had enough of it. According to the new polling: A majority (64%) of voters are concerned that Elon Musk is cutting essential services to fund tax cuts for his wealthy peers. Most voters do NOT want reductions to the federal workforce in certain agencies, including crucial services such as the Department of Veteran Affairs, the National Parks Service, and the Social Security Administration. Many voters are worried Musk's actions will do more harm than good – with a plurality (43%) thinking that Musk and DOGE will negatively impact their life, compared to only 37% who think there will be positive impacts. Common Cause agrees – which is why we launched our Fire Elon Musk campaign to demand the immediate removal of Elon Musk from ANY position of influence within our government.
