Congress is back in town this week, Pamela. That means Republicans are back to finding ways to axe our clean energy investments, making us pay more and killing good-paying jobs to pass off tax handouts to their billionaire backers.
We need your help to flood their inboxes with messages demanding they protect the clean energy investments we fought for and won -- to protect our future.

Pamela,
Congress just passed a continuing resolution to fund the government through September. And while Republicans claimed it would be a clean resolution, without significant changes to the existing budget, it slashed funding for critical services that keep our families healthy, safe, and whole.
But our fight isn't over yet. Passing this continuing resolution allows Congress to focus on debating whether to fund Donald Trump and Elon Musk's extreme agenda through reconciliation legislation.
We already know congressional Republicans are ready with the chainsaw to cut critical programs like the clean energy investments we fought hard for and won. All so they can give more tax breaks to corporate billionaires and raise costs for American families.
Here's the reality: If Congress cuts these clean energy investments, we're going to see even higher energy costs. Reports estimate families would see energy costs rise by $240 annually -- that's $32 B-I-L-L-I-O-N more in total household energy costs! Plus, more than 400,000 new good-paying clean energy jobs would be on the chopping block. And the kicker? Most of these jobs are in red states and districts.
We've known these attacks are coming, and we're ready, Pamela. We have the power to impact the outcome. But we need to make our voices heard together. Join us in telling Congress to protect these critical clean energy investments.
Our voices are louder together. Senator Marco Rubio, Representative Mike Haridopolos, Senator Rick Scott, and Senator Ashley Moody need to hear from you, Pamela. Send your email now.
Republicans in Congress have made it clear they're afraid of their own constituents -- so afraid, they've been canceling town halls. But we still have ways to make sure our voices are heard. Congressional offices keep track of each message they receive from their constituents and put it on record where they stand. So right now, while Congress is drafting reconciliation legislation, is the time to make sure they hear what matters most to you.
We've made it easy for you to email your elected officials in Congress directly and demand they protect climate action and clean energy investments that save lives, lower costs, and create good-paying jobs in communities across the country. Send your email now.
Thank you for making your voice heard,
Climate Power
