"Who's the Boss?" billboards outside Mar-a-Lago

We all know that Donald Trump has the thinnest of skin.

Dear MoveOn member,

We all know that Donald Trump has the thinnest of skin. So we're going to poke the bear—but need your help to make it work.

As Elon Musk, Trump's top campaign donor and the richest man in the world, takes a hatchet to everything from Head Start child care programs to health care for veterans to lifesaving cancer research in a ruthless campaign to slash the programs millions of us rely on in order to pay for his own billionaire tax cut, we're putting up billboards outside Trump's Mar-a-Lago home calling out Musk's puppetlike control over Trump.

Take a look:

Spot on, right?! The billboards are going up as soon as tomorrow, and right now we have the resources to keep them up for one week. But we know that the more Trump sees them, the more we'll get under his skin and the sooner he'll dump Musk. So our goal is to keep them up for at least four weeks.

Our resources come from people all over the country chipping in what they can. Which is why we're asking: Will you start a $5 monthly donation today to help us get these billboards up and running, keep them up for as long as possible, and continue our campaign to break up Donald Trump and Elon Musk?

Yes, I'll chip in $5 monthly. If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately.

No, I'm sorry, I can't make a monthly donation.

Our "Who's the Boss?" billboards are in addition to billboards we're putting up in left-leaning districts with Republican congressional representatives, calling on them to stop Trump and Musk from shutting down funding for vital programs relied on by millions of people.

Trump has set Musk loose, and he has already taken a wrecking ball to so many people's lives. In just a matter of weeks, he's:

  • Taken control of the federal payment system responsible for issuing Social Security payments, tax refunds, and more.1
  • Moved to shut down watchdog agencies like the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, which was created with the sole purpose of helping everyday people fight against greedy corporations and Big Banks.2
  • Cut off support for Ebola and HIV prevention programs in Africa, which experts say has already caused at least 300 babies to be born with HIV who otherwise would have been protected.3
  • Slashed funding for health-care programs that impact cancer, Alzheimer's, and diabetes research. Experts are calling it an "apocalypse [for] American science."4

And this is just the beginning. If Musk is allowed to continue unchecked, he will devastate the lives of untold millions of regular people while hoarding even more wealth for himself.

Without Musk, Trump won't be able to inflict nearly as much damage on our lives, well-being, and livelihoods.

Can you chip in $5 a month to fund not only our "Who's the Boss?" billboards but also our all-hands-on-deck campaign to stop Donald Trump and Elon Musk from dismantling vital programs that millions of us rely on?

Yes, I'll chip in $5 monthly. If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately.

No, I'm sorry, I can't make a monthly donation.

Keep your head up, and don't forgot how powerful we are when we come together to speak out and take action. We're going to get through this and build a country where everyone can thrive.

Thanks for all you do.
