Pamela, This week, Governor Brian Kemp signed several MAGA-led pieces of legislation into law — including SB 189, which was crafted to disenfranchise thousands of voters during a critical election year. These extreme pieces of legislation that we saw come out of this year's legislative session in April are not just bills; they're blatant attempts to reshape Georgia by marginalizing the voices and rights of its people. But we have strength in numbers, and together, we can keep pushing back to protect equal access to the ballot box. Now that SB 189 and other outrageous bills are becoming law, we have to redouble our efforts to protect the freedom to vote.
