Now, Trump's threatening to go even further. Trump has floated airstrikes and even a land invasion of Venezuela—all without congressional approval. There are already over 15,000 U.S. troops stationed in the region, and an aircraft carrier strike group is on standby.2 But we can stop this. This week, the House may vote on a war powers resolution, a bill that would block Trump from attacking Venezuela without congressional approval.3 This vote is our best chance to stop another endless war before it starts.
