Pamela, to watch new waves of suffering emerge in a place already devastated by violence is heartbreaking.
Thousands of hungry families are facing a third winter of homelessness as aid dwindles and torrential rains flood refugee camps. Despite "ceasefires," the bombings of Gaza and Lebanon have not stopped, the death toll is growing, and troubling reports indicate that the Israeli government is redrawing the borders of Gaza.[1] All the while, the U.S. government remains directly culpable.
Unfortunately, once a ceasefire agreement was in place, the crisis has largely slipped from the headlines, despite continuing horrors.
Win Without War won't change this horrific situation alone. We work closely with three incredible grassroots groups on the frontline of the Israel-Palestine conflict: Standing Together, Combatants for Peace, and Families Forum. One thing unites us: We work tirelessly together to break the cycle of violence.
We can't allow despair or complacency to turn what we're witnessing in Gaza and beyond into our new normal. As the suffering continues, we're re-issuing an urgent challenge to this incredible community: Let's turn a moment of despair into a moment of hope by raising $20,000 for our four crucial organizations working to build pathways to peace across Israel, Palestine, and beyond.

As the violence drags on and we grapple with yet another lost opportunity for a path towards peace, it's easy to feel hopeless. But it's this community that time and time again gives us the hope we need to keep going — and when hawks push toward war, we turn to the peacemakers.
That includes people like Sally and Alon-Lee, who founded Standing Together. Earlier this year, they took their protest to a new level, disrupting a popular show watched by an estimated 469,000 Israelis each week.[2] Eliah Levin, a student organizer, told a leading Israeli newspaper, "We cannot allow ourselves to numb our pain and not think about what we're doing as a country to Palestinians. We have to wake up."
Then there's the Parents Circle – Families Forum, a joint Palestinian-Israeli organization of people who have lost close family members to the conflict. The Forum has over 700 families, and more have joined since October 7. These individuals choose reconciliation over retribution as they confront the grief and horror of this war — and invite others to join them.
Finally, there's Combatants for Peace (CfP), a joint Palestinian-Israeli community made up of former Israeli and Palestinian fighters, refuseniks, and non-violent activists working in solidarity to end the occupation, discrimination, and oppression by co-creating a just peace.
This summer, CfP joined with Parents Circle – Families Forum to hold the 20th Israeli-Palestinian Joint Memorial Day Ceremony to bear witness to the suffering and refuse to accept war as their destiny.[3] At that event, F., a Palestinian woman originally from Gaza who now lives in the West Bank, reminded us: "Let us remember that each day is a chance for a new beginning, and that we are capable of building a better tomorrow."
Together, in the face of threats, harassment, and personal risk, peacemakers like these — like you, Pamela — are building the world we all want and deserve. That world includes a future where people in Palestine and Israel live in dignity and thrive without the fear of violence.
We know that we won't create the change we need to truly keep people in Palestine, Israel, Iran, Lebanon, or the United States safe without partners. Our team at Win Without War is honored to work alongside them in this critical moment — because we know that the impossible becomes achievable when we work together.
Our average gift from individual supporters like you this year is just $21. Every donation tells an urgently needed story about who this community is: People who refuse to look away. People who will help build the world we all want and deserve — one where we all live and thrive without the threat of violence.
There's no avoiding the fact that all our groups will need more resources. Win Without War is pressing forward with every tactic we have to bring the bombs to a complete halt. We're doing around-the-clock advocacy to demand that our government strengthen and sustain the fragile ceasefires. We're mobilizing thousands to ensure lawmakers feel nonstop public pressure to block the weapons that fuel unconscionable suffering. And we're building powerful coalitions that are ready to block any attempts to extend or deepen the horrific violence we're witnessing. This work is under threat, but we're as undeterred as ever.
By donating through this email, you can support four organizations in this challenging moment. That means, if you donate $20 today, Win Without War, Standing Together, Combatants for Peace, and Families Forum will each receive $5 to fuel our shared work to create the political space for solutions rooted in peace, dignity, and justice. If you give more, our ability to make an impact increases, too.
Thank you for working for peace,
The Win Without War team
