I made a difficult decision recently, and I wanted you to know about it.
After much thought and deliberation about how best to get involved in the next election, I decided to start Fight for the People PAC -- a PAC I can use to travel, speak out, and help elect Democrats everywhere.
What was tough about the decision was that we launched so close to an FEC fundraising deadline, where how much we've raised and how many donations we received will be public.
For better or worse, lots of people will be looking to see what we file. There will be people hoping to see you're still with me -- and there will be people hoping we fall flat.
That's why I am reaching out with a last-ditch request before this FEC fundraising deadline ends. Every donation sends an important message, and it also allows me to keep fighting for YOU and families like yours during the midterm elections.
So I am asking:
If you've stored your info with ActBlue, we'll process your contribution instantly.
I am not going to send a million fundraising emails and texts, but I am working hard to make sure we file a good report while getting my work via Fight for the People PAC off to a strong start.
