Pamela,
Every election, Common Cause Florida mobilizes pro-democracy people like you to serve as Nonpartisan Poll Monitors to assist voters at the polls and observe and report what is happening. With the support of Nonpartisan Poll Monitors, we aim to ensure every voter can cast their ballot.
Now we're gearing up for the remaining local and state elections in 2025 and need your help in Orange County, Pinellas County, and Miami-Dade County, so voters at the polls can receive answers to common voting questions.
This month,we're offering two virtual trainings so you can learn how to Poll Monitor:
Poll monitors are our eyes and ears on the ground. You'll learn how to:
Assist voters by answering common questions
Identify and report problems at polling places
Help document voter suppression or disinformation
Connect voters to expert and legal support when needed
No experience is necessary as we'll provide everything you need. By joining us, Pamela, you'll be standing up for voters across Florida, especially in communities that often face barriers to the ballot.
Whether you're fluent in English, Spanish, or both, there's a place for you in voter assistance. These training sessions are your first step toward making sure every voter's voice is heard in 2025 and beyond. The training is a great way to learn Florida voting law, even if you choose not to volunteer
Thank you for standing up for our democracy,
Franceska Edouard, Organizer
and the team at Common Cause Florida
