Pamela, Last week, President Trump signed the "One Big Beautiful Bill Act", a devastating piece of legislation that delivers $170 billion for supercharging immigration enforcement, detention, and militarization, while also gutting food aid and health care programs that millions rely on.
This is an attack on our values and our communities. Here are just some of the things this bill will do:

- Increase the construction and operation of detention centers by 265 percent.

- Cut life-saving legal and social services.

- Provide bonuses for ICE agents, further incentivizing cruel enforcement efforts.
