Billionaires over people? We simply won’t allow it

The GOP wants us to feel powerless, but Climate Power won't stand down.

Hey Pamela, I won't sugarcoat it. Now that the "Big Beautiful Bill," aka the Republican Rate Hike, is signed into law, the reality is grim. Thanks to this new law, an estimated 10.5 million people are at risk of losing their health care due to Medicaid and CHIP cuts. Food assistance has been gutted by $230 billion in the largest cut to SNAP in its history. On top of that, our water and air quality now face heightened pollution risks. And reduced clean energy investments mean monthly utility bills will spike for working families -- a Republican Rate Hike that will leave Americans feeling the strain. When they signed this bill into law, MAGA extremists made something very clear: They aren't fighting for us. So, Climate Power is stepping up to protect Americans from their destruction. Over the next two years, we must elect leaders who choose working people and our climate over corporations' bottom lines. The clean energy plan sparked a clean energy boom that created more than 400,000 good-paying jobs and has saved families on their energy bills, and costs for solar panels and other home energy upgrades. Voting against this success just to stick to party lines is further proof where GOP loyalty lies. And we won't forget.
