Pamela,
It's time to talk about Chris Wright.
He's the guy who Donald Trump tapped as energy secretary. He's also the former CEO of an oil company who gave hundreds of thousands of dollars to support Donald Trump's efforts to win back the White House. And he's the person whose actions could raise costs for American families across the country.
Right now, Donald Trump is taking steps to suspend clean energy development on federal lands, attacking wind and solar investments, causing chaos for clean energy businesses -- and Chris Wright is right beside him, doing the work to make Trump's oil-fueled vision of the future a reality.
And what's the cost? Climate Power has been keeping count, and we've tracked at least 40,000 jobs that have come under threat or disappeared altogether because of Trump's relentless war on clean energy production.
The thing is, all these actions are deeply unpopular -- especially rolling back good-paying jobs for communities that need them -- and Climate Power has done the public opinion research to back this up.
So we can make sure they pay a public opinion price for their actions. But not if all these attacks on clean energy get lost amid the constant chaos of Trump nonsense. Not if no one knows who Chris Wright actually is. Will you help us amplify our message by chipping in today so we can educate the American people, including those who will be most impacted by Mr. Wright's actions?

Donald Trump, Chris Wright, and all the other ideologues in this administration are counting on us being so distracted by the chaos we don't see what's right in front of us: that they will sell out American families to line the pockets of their Big Oil besties.
Well, Mr. Wright, you're wrong. We know exactly what you're doing and we've made it our mission to make sure people know how much it impacts their everyday lives.
Thanks for standing with us,
The Climate Power Team
