Pamela --
Donald Trump made one priority clear on the first day of his second term: He attacked clean energy progress, immediately signing executive orders that roll back protections and benefit his Big Oil backers.
He (once again) signed an executive order to pull our country out of the Paris Climate Agreement -- a move that will hamper domestic and international efforts to combat the climate crisis.
And as he promised to the Oil and Gas executives who donated to his campaign, he restarted the review of toxic fossil fuel export facilities. Trump even tried to create a definition for energy for his government that defines solar and wind out of our country's energy portfolio.
That's just day one of Trump's presidency. But it's a signal of what we should expect going forward. We know that there will be more attacks on our clean energy progress in the days, weeks, and years to come -- but we also know that together, with this team, we can fight back and mitigate his harm.

Our goals are clear:
- We'll keep telling the story of climate action and the benefits it's bringing to communities across the country.
- We'll ensure our elected officials know their reputations and their communities are at stake -- and more importantly, the future is at stake.
- And we'll go after anyone who threatens good-paying, family-supporting clean energy jobs and our future.
Thanks so much for being with us in this fight.
