| Pamela, Amazon workers launched the #ExposeAmazon Campaign this summer. Now, with October Prime Day coming up next week, they need our help. Prime Day isn't just a time when Amazon slashes prices and gets millions of dollars in free media―it's also the time that worker injuries are the highest, as Amazon warehouses work their employees ragged, leading to inevitable accidents. Torn ACLs, broken bones, even deaths―with no support from Amazon. During July's Prime Days, workers attempted to deliver a letter to Amazon's Vice President of Public Safety, Sarah Rhoads, but they weren't even allowed to deliver it. Amazon refused workers entry into the building and did not even accept their letter. With another Prime Day coming without safety measures, we need to up the ante. Please support the #ExposeAmazon campaign by signing onto the letter to Sarah Rhoads, Vice President of Global Workplace Health & Safety at Amazon, asking her to meet with workers about the injury crisis at Amazon. In solidarity, Mike Phelan Progress America |
