The fight to end gerrymandering couldn't be more important to our future, Pamela. Let me tell you why former Attorney General Eric Holder and I have made it a top priority.

We've seen this story for too long now. The majority of Americans agree on many of our biggest issues: Expanding affordable health care. Passing commonsense gun laws. Taking real action on climate change. Defending reproductive rights. Advancing criminal justice reform. The list goes on.

But gerrymandering puts progress on these and so many other important issues out of reach.

If we don't have fair voting districts, we won't make the progress we all want and our country needs on health care, climate change, and so much more.

When politicians manipulate district maps for political advantage, they are emboldened to pursue and vote for extreme policies knowing they won't have to answer to their constituents. Gerrymandering pushes our political debates to the fringes and away from reasonable solutions that most of us support.

That's where the All On The Line team comes in.

With your help, we're going to change things. By fighting for fair maps, we can elect more leaders who focus on tackling the issues we all care about instead of focusing on the most narrow interests or extreme voices.

All On The Line has a great plan to combat unfair gerrymandering in every way possible -- training and activating thousands of volunteers across the nation and supporting leaders who will make a difference at the local and state level.
