The Supreme Court betrayal and what comes next

Friend, we're furious. Senate Republicans voted to confirm Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court. This nomination process was a sham from start to finish. Senate Republicans denied Ruth Bader Ginsburg her dying wish that the next President replace her to rush an untested, radical nominee to a lifetime position. Now, we have a Justice who could vote against Roe v. Wade, the Affordable Care Act, racial justice, workers' rights, LGBTQIA+ equality and decades worth of other progress. We're angry, Friend, but we can't sit back. We need to hold every single one of these Senate Republicans accountable this year and beyond. At Common Defense, we've been working for months already in swing states to vote out Senate Republicans like Thom Tillis and Martha McSally. And now that they've betrayed their constituents to vote for Amy Coney Barrett, we're more ready than ever to defeat them. We only have days remaining before the Election Day.
