Here's what I learned from my run for president

Team,   During my campaign for president, I met some of the most inspiring and brave people all across this country. It was a privilege to speak with them, lift up their voices, and fight for them.     And while my presidential campaign may have ended, I still think about those people, and I’ve never felt more clarity of purpose:  We must make sure Donald Trump is a one-term president and take back the Senate majority from Mitch McConnell. I’ve seen up close the destruction that Mitch McConnell has caused in the Senate. He’s not fighting for the families I've met across America -- he’s blocking election security reforms, environmental protections, and gun safety measures that Democrats have fought so hard for. He’s packing our courts, threatening our reproductive rights, and sabotaging our access to affordable health care. It's absolutely clear that Democrats must flip the Senate, but it won't be easy. So here’s the bottom line: It’s not enough for Democrats to win the White House in 2020. We have to win the Senate, too.
